Vintage Set Lot of 9 Santa Head Wax Candy Nut Containers

NOTE: The shapes do vary somewhat - *One of them is very mis-shapen (it\'s a freebie)- another is not quite sitting firmly. The other seven are looking quite good - not exactly the same but you can look at the pictures to see.

They measure approx. 2-1/4\" x 2-3/4\" - largest parts.

The container itself measures about 1/1-4\" - square shaped. About 3/4\" deep.

I don\'t know the origin of these.

NOTE: I believe these are at least from the 1950\'s, but probably before then.

I don\'t know how these are made - all wax or wax over something else ?
