You are looking at a pair of candlestick (candle holders) for Shabbat. These were obtained in Israel in the 1960\'s. They are made of brass and each has a turquoise type stone in the shape of a flame. They are inscribed on the base with \"Holy Sabbath\" in Hebrew. There are no maker\'s mark of any kind anywhere on them. They are very unique and are of a classic design.
These candle holders are in good condition but do show tarnish inside the actual candle receptacle. The bases are nicely weighted so as to not fall over. They measure approx. 8 1/2 inches tall and the base is about 2 3/4 inches at the widest.
Please look the photos over carefully and ask any questions. These have been in the attic for decades and it is time for someone to enjoy them.
