The pen is innice condition. <This stylish Sheaffer was manufactured inRARE STUNNING pearl & black with goldtrim. The pen bears aLARGE 14ct Sheaffer LIFETIMEgold nib. There is a white dot at the top of the cap, representing Sheaffer\'s lifetime warranty. The imprint on the barrel is crisp. The pen bears the lever-filler system, which is in perfect working order. A new sac has been fitted. The pen has been fully serviced and tested. The pencil is also in excellent condition, with a large eye-catching gold filledcrown, with crisp stunning imprint embossed. STORY
In 1912, Walter A Sheaffer took his grand idea of pen-filling apparatus that utilized a lever system and, with his life savings, founds the W.A. Sheaffer company. During the early stage, the company ran with just 7 employees crowded into the samll back room of a jewelry store in Fort Madison, Iowa.Thecompany later developed and earnsubstanical market share in the state.
In 1945, US Secretary of State James F Byrnes used a Sheaffer to sign the paper that brought the United Nations into being.
