This is a vintage signed Georg Jensen sterling silver classic bird design brooch. The hallmark used dates it between 1933-1944 and we believe the pin/clasp mechanism to be original to the pin. Other marks on the pin include 925 and 165 as well as Sterling and Denmark. The pin measures approx. 1 1/2\" wide and is in good vintage condition. It does appear to have been polished a number of times as a few of the details on the raised portions are less defined. Please see pictures. This particular brooch has a somewhat rare clasp compared to others available. It has a pin that you can insert and pull out to catch and release the stick pin. The pin that you insert is slightly bent but still works well to secure the stick pin portion. Overall, this is a great example of Georg Jensen\'s craftsmanship and is ready to be added to someone\'s collection.
