Up for your consideration is this Vintage Framed Velvet Oil Painting of a Mare and Foal. This painting was bought and has been in my possession since 1967 (47 years old). I fell in love with they eyes of the mare and foal and it hung in my home for many years.The whiter pictures are taken with a flash.
The frame and picture measure 30\" x 40\" and without the frame the painting is 24 x 34. The frame is a rusting looking wood and stamped \"Made in Mexico\". The signature I am not sure of but it looks like CORTEZ.
It has been stored away for many years and in storage received a small hole about 3/4\" to an 1\" in the velvet (see close-up picture). I am sure it can be fixed.
I would prefer someone to pick it up from my home, but I will be glad to ship it too.
