Pair of vintage Pirate Bookends. Some paint losswith fabulouspatina. Just under 7\" tall. Nice pair of bookends. .Paul Herzel\'s (1876-1956) sculptural designs were sold to Pompeian Bronze early in the first quarter of the 20th century. Armor Bronze acquiredthe molds in the 1920\'s. These were made between the mid 30\'s and mid 40\'s as the Label is from theirfactoryin Taunton, MASS as this is when its factory was inexistence. This pair has some age as you can tell, and are extremely good castings. They were cast by Armor Bronze and weigh 4.5 lbs. each. Items from Armor Bronze with theoriginallabels are rare..
