Up today are the Handmade Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin Simpich character dolls on a base. It was purchased in Colorado in the 1950’s and has been on display ever since. This item is in Very Good Condition, there is some aging to Christopher’s clothing (sun, dust), Pooh and his Hunny Pot can stand up straight, but prefer to lean, he is made of stuffed felt. Christopher’s head, arms and legs ad the hunny pot are handpainted. The base is lightly scuffed at the edges and bottom. The sticker on the base reads ‘Simpich Character Dolls 340 Oklahoma Road Manitou Springs, Colo. Height 9”, base 5.25” x 5.25”.
