I have sewna few stitches on this machine. It sews nicer stitches than my Kenmore. It runs very smooth and quiet. I was surprised at the straight line of stitches and the perfect bobbin control stitches.

AS WITH ANY 75 YEAR OLD ELECTRIC ITEM, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT A MONTHS AFTER YOU PURCHASE IT YOU COULD HAVE A PROBLEM. THE GOOD THING IS THERE ARE MANY SINGER SEWING MACHINE REPAIRMEN TO FIX THIS WONDERFUL MACHINE. WHEN IT LEAVES MY HOME IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION.

It may need oiled (book shows exactly how to oil) or you could have itcleaned by a professional.

THEMACHINE IS SOLD AS IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER WHEN LEAVING MY HOME.

THERE IS NOT ANEXTRA BELT BUT THIS BELT LOOKS IN GOOD CONDITON.

YOU ARERECEIVING EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES

The SewingMachine is in very good condition. It has scratches from pins and needles andapparatus attachments. The Wheel has some chipped paint. I do not see rust anywhere. The bottom has marks from aging but I don’t think it is rust. The bobbin areais very clean. The gold design on the right front has been rubbed a lot from a right hand holding the material. The picture looks like an indentation but it isn\'t just missing some gold design. The 5th picture shows the wear much better.

CASE: hassome scratches both inside and outside. Very Sturdy and in Good overall condition.

PLEASECHECK ALL PICTURES VERY CLOSLEY BEFORE YOU CONSIDER TO PURCHASE OR CONTACT MEIF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. RETURNS 14 DAYS WITH ORIGINAL PACKING & YOU MUST PAY FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE.

The Featherweight came in astandard black model made in the U.S. Those made before World War II (andapparently a few after the war) had an attractive \"EgyptianScrollwork\" pattern on the faceplate, while most of those made after thewar had a simple, striated pattern of vertical stripes. They were furtherdecorated with gold decals and the Singer name, but nowhere do they say\"Featherweight\" on them. The Singer Featherweight portable sewingmachine is a model made by that company between 1933 and 1964. The machine(model 221), adapted from an earlier portable has been found to be an idealmachine for quilters and other sewers to take to classes or \"onlocation.\"
