This necklace has a fabulous design to it and is nice and bulky! It has long bars, connected by big round links and there are 6 big twisted link sections along the length. There is no clasp on it: it is long enough to slip over the head. It weighs 30.9 grams, is 13 &1/2" doubled length, so will wear around 27 to 28". The twisted sections are 3/8" wide and the bars are about 1mm wide/thick. It is hallmarked with European hallmarks as shown: possibly Italian or French in my opinion. Exact age and origin are unknown. This is such a unique chain though and is bound to please the lover of different pieces! It is in excellent vintage condition.
