Vintage Oriental Kilim Rug

The rug is in a very good condition - has been recently cleaned professionally by an oriental rugs dealer.

I am not an expert in orietnal rugs, but as far as I could identify the rug it is a pretty vintage tribal Soufre Kilim. This tribal embroidered kilim was made from 100% vegetable dyes and handspun wool.

The rug consists of a flat-woven kilim base, richly embroidered in wool (sextagons, gazelles and other motives).
