This sale is for a vintage South Bend circa 1800 naval cannon mounted on a fortress / garrison carriage. It\'s been knocked around a little, it\'s a heavy rascal, so the finish isn\'t perfect, so could use a paint job, but there is no damage, it is iron (or eyein here in Massachusetts) after all! The barrel is sleeved. It looks to me like it\'s never been fired, if it has, it could only have been once. There is some rust inside that will need to be dealt with before firing. Overall length is about 15-1/2\", it\'s 7\" wide outer axle to outer axle, and the barrel measures about 14-3/4\" long. Free shipping includes insurance for full value and signature confirmation upon delivery. In this case you may not waive signature confirmation.
