I have opinions that it is a gullah basket and opinion that it is not----

This was found at an estate sale full of OLD stuff-not modern in any case.
Width 9\" by 12\" long (add 2\" for handles) by just over 2\" deep (handles run a bit higher.0
All the bindings seem tight and well done.
no staining or obvious issues that I can find.
