Up for sale is this pretty little vintage Sterling Silver keepsake box with a hinged lid. It looks like this box was a fairly expensive item in its day. Interior lid is engraved \"1-13-51\" and is also stamped \"47\". The bottom of the box is stamped \"STERLING\" with a little wrapped gift box icon underneath. Top lid looks like it is engraved \"JRA\" in swirly script. I\'ve pointed out in a photo, a scratch ding just to the left of the monogramed J and there are a couple more minor dings on the box too. The hinged lid area is bent, as shown, but I would think a jeweler could bend that area back into shape.? Box measures 3\" wide x 1\" tall. Velvet interior is removable. Weighs 2 oz 6 grams. Neat ole\' trinket box to store your goodies!
