Vintage Hickok sterling silver \'M\' monogram belt buckle in good shape aesthetically and functionally perfect. The buckle is a compression type. The last 2 photos show the built in compression piece on the buckles loop, the latter thereby used to manipulate tightening and loosening of the belt. The hold is firm and one gets used to the new technique very quickly. Hickok was to Compression buckles from the 1920\'s to the 70\'s what Ford and GM combined were to the automobile industry. The fact that so many still exist today speaks well of their quality.
