Vintage Stoppax Hemstitching Fork

Complete with original instructions & original packet.
In good condition with a few minimal signs of use. There is some wear to the packet, please see the photos.
The sample shown was made on my Singer 221, as shown in the photo (the machine is of course not included in the sale) and this hemstitcher can be used on any sewing machine, straight, slant, high or low shank.
It is delightfully simple to use and produces a lovely decorative effect. By varying the stitch length and using decorative threads different effects can be made. Any length of hemstitching can be achieved.
