This sale offers 3 Royal Copenhagen Fajance plates, made in 1981 in Denmark. Each plate depicts a scene for one of Hans Christian Andersen\'s stories, \"De Vilde Svaner\" (\"The Wild Swans\"), \"Fyrtøjet\" (\"Tinderbox\"), and \"Den Lille Pige Med Svovlstikkrtne\" (The Little Match Girl\"). The plates have a bright shiney glaze and are 3¼\" in diameter. All three plates are in like new condition without crazing, chips or cracks, they have never been used. On the back of ech plate is the Royal Copenhagen logo Fajance Hans Christian Andersen ©81 with the story tiltle in Danish. I have 3 other sets listed at this time, and all 12 plates could be shipped for a really big saving on the postage.
