We recently got a whole collection of teapots and each one is unique and special. This one is a plump brown glazed English teapot in the classic Brown Betty shape. This piece features a gold filigreed design with orange and aqua dots of paint. The design is featured all the way around the teapot. Such a classic style, and just beautiful, to use or to display in a collection of favorite teapots, or to use for your evening comforting cup of tea. On the bottom, in gold, it has a drawing of the world with No. 1292 across the middle, and MADE IN ENGLAND arched above. No maker\'s name anywhere on the pot.

Size: 5\" tall to the top of the lid knob. The body of the pot is 5 1/2\" in diameter. Measures 9\" from handle to spout. It will hold about 4 cups of liquid.

Condition: There\'s a small rough spot of the edge of the spout, and another on the edge of the lid, but both have been glazed over, so it\'s a part of the manufacturing process, and not a break.
