This is a really sharp Texaco Gasoline porcelain advertising sign form an antique mall that has been closed for a very long time. This sign measures 11.75\" in diameter. This sign has one of the most famous advertising lines ever - \"Trust Your Car To The Man Who Wears The Star\". It has all of it\'s original split back type grommets. It has fantastic graphics and, In addition to all of that, it has the green porcelain back. Now I will grant you that the sign is weathered and that the grommets have lost most of their original shiny finish but, at least the original grommets are still intact. The new owner of the building has no interest in antiques or collectibles. He just needs to empty the building. I have been hired by the new owner to liquidate the entire inventory of this old store. I know almost nothing about advertising signs.I have no way to determine the condition,rarity,exact age,or value of any of the signs.I am selling all of these signs in as-is condition.
