Vintage Thanksgiving Turkey Platter Plate - Homer Laughlin Cavalier Eggshell:

This Homer Laughlin Platter features a tom turkey on a Cavalier Eggshell background with wide pale pink band. The Cavalier (wide band) pattern was introduced in 1953. According to the back stamp, this piece was produced in October, 1955 at Plant #5 or #6 (plant # is smeared). There is a small chip on the back, other wise is a very nice usable piece. It measures approx. 13 1/2\" x 11 1/4\".
