This item is being offered from the estate of my mother, who recently passed.

Offered here is a Sterling Silver Wedding plate by Tiffany & Co. Pattern number is 18678, order number is 8790.

My research on this plate shows a vintage of the early to mid 1900’s – a time when my grandparents (and later my parents) were married, leading me to believe this was a wedding gift to one of them.

This plate was polished prior to listing, but is not fully restored. I’ll leave that to the buyer. There are light surface scratches, but no dings or dents.

The plate measures 9 ½” in circumference, with the outer 1” edge being an intricately carved ‘lattice’ type pattern.

This plate weighs in at 358 grams, and is stamped ‘Sterling Silver 925-1000’. It also bears the Tiffany & Co. hallmark.

In addition, there are 2 additional hand etchings on this plate. One reads 12/95 (a numbered release?) and the other reads (faintly) 2439.

The underside of the plate has a small pedestal of just under ¼”.

Sentimental value aside, this is a beautiful vintage piece. I have boxes and boxes of my parents photos, wedding gifts, keepsakes, etc. I need to thin these out, and will keep those items that I value the most for their memory.
