Vintage Traditional Silver Navajo Style Concho Belt - Ten Conchos:

Nicely made vintage traditional Navajo style concho belt. Large elaborately stamped rectangular buckle measures 3 1/2\" wide by 3 1/4\" tall at its center. Ten identical conchos are 3\" wide by 2 1/4\" tall with a simple domed design framed with stamping and scalloped margins. Two copper bands attach the conchos and each is backed with a leather washer and strung on a 1 3/16\" wide black belt. Approx. length is 41 \" with holes from about 36\" - 39\". Marked sterling and initialed JE by the maker. Very substantial 658 grams for silver and leather together. View close up pictures to appreciate the design and workmanship. Belt has been worn with some expected scratches, wear, and patina, but is in excellent vintage and wearable condition.
