I am including it with the cake carrier, but not listing it as part of the carrier, because the carrier can be used without that piece.}The base is 12 3/4 inches across the handles and the carrier is 7 inches high.The set has a tight seal.They have been used and have some scratching from use.There are no melts or cracks and no odors.
The top can be inverted and you could also use this piece to carry a salad to your next event.Nice vintage piece for your retro style kitchen!!!
