Very cool late 50s/ early 60s Mid Century Modern Space Age UFO look Flying Saucer 3 bulb ceiling fixture featuring classic MCM color rose tint brushed copper metal construction, and cool frosted glass shade with a mod line design. In nice looking shape, no chips or cracks in glass other than a flea bite or two and rough spot on the edge but not prominent/ the metal part looks nice too/ finish is in good shape, no dents or scratches, etc. ... The holes where it mounts to the ceiling show a little wear from how it was removed, but still totally functional and not seen when the light is mounted to a ceiling. (I suspect these fixtures came with the ranch style MCM tract house/ spec house, and the original owners took them down and replaced them with something else/ seem to have seen little wear/ stored away well...) The fixture measures approx. a bit under 14 inches diameter across the part where the shade goes, and around 10.75\" diameter across the bottom/part that mounts to ceiling, and the copper color part is around 3 in. tall/thick, with the glass shade peaking out a little bit more at the height of its dome... Tag on reflector cardboard under the bulbs says Underwriters Laboratory Inc. Listed Fixture Issue C 154,278. The other little labelsays Union Made.Great addition to any retro decor, wonderful find for any MCM time capsule house restoration/ redo back to original. Would work great in a bedroom, but also perfect for a rec room/ office den space etc... Or even cool in the right kitchen/ classic clean line design.
