Similar to the bearded Lincoln bust I currently have on sale I can almost guarantee that you have never seen this beardless Lincoln bust before. The only other one I have seen is in the Lincoln College Museum in Lincoln, IL. This is a marvelous vintage piece but there are no markings on it to confirm its age or maker. It shows the inscription 201 on the reverse side. (see photo) which might indicate it was a limited edition?? It is a 1/2 scale 13\" brown bronze plaster bust with very realistic proportions (one of the most dynamic and realistic looking I have seen.) It is in excellent condition with a felt bottom. I have tried to take decent pictures without a flash in different lighting because of reflection issues so the focus is compromised a bit. A cheaper reproduction of this original can be seen periodically for sale. An example of this currently on is item 132054767098.
