DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1942 Army dispatch rider\'s motorcycle coat

An interesting vintage Army motorcycle dispatch rider\'s coat dating from the 1940s. Made of cotton canvas with a rubberized lining to keep out the rain. Label reads \"V44 1942 Made in Australia Size 5\". A nice old WWII era motorcycle coat, this has some dirty marks on the coat but has otherwise survived the years in very good solid order both inside and out with no rips or tears and still displays nicely. It has the \"V44\" Australian Army uniform code number (dispatch rider\'s coat) and is marked size 5 which looks to be a small medium in size. The size measurements are approx 37 inches top to bottom, 34 inches shoulder to bottom, 20 inches armpit to armpit and 29 inches sleeves neck to cuff. It would originally have had a belt but this is no longer present. A nice historic Army motorcycle coat.
