Wilton Armetale was made in Columbia PA from 1954-1969 when it moved to Mnt Joy PA where it is currently located. In 2011 Wilton Armetale was sold to non Wilton hands and they have since outsourced theirmanufacturing to MEXICO and CHINA, these VINTAGE Armetale are SUPERIOR in WEIGHT QUALITY and marksmanship! Buy VINTAGE for a truly American Historic Company that has sadly been sold out. I only buy and sell Vintage Armetale the ones that are new are Thinner and do not stand up to washing and the daily abuse cookware takes.
As will ALL Wilton Armetale HAND WASH ONLY and polish every so often withBar Keepers FriendandWrights Silver Cream, putting in a dishwasher will ruin the glossy finish, the Matte finish are more hardy, but I recommend hand washing all your Wilton Aremetale to be safe! I purchase many of my items I sell at Garage Sales and Estate Sales where I have to try multiple cleaners to fix the tarnish from dishwasher detergent!
