He joined the pottery in 1927 making the classic English slipware style using the red earthenware Winchcombe clay- heretired in 1978.The dishesmeasure 2 inches high and 4 3/4inches in diameter - 6 1/4 inches across with the handle and are all marked on the bottom edge.They arein greatcondition - no chips or cracks-please see photos using the close-up feature as they are part of the description.
