A unique, nearly one of a kind, vintage custom made cribbage board hand fashioned from 1/2 of a wood bowling ball. My mother-in-law gave this us for Christmas in the early1960\'s and it was the perfect gift, we played countless games of Cribbage over hundreds and hundreds of hours on this board and each time we look at it we think of her. Over the last few years we\'ve played less and less. Our children aren\'t interested in the game and we\'re trying to cut back on the number of items we\'re still hanging on to- it\'s either we part with some of it now or they\'ll be parting with it later when it\'s sold in a giant estate sale. The board measures approximately 15\" in overall length X 4 3/4\" wide at the widest part and it stands 2 34\" to 3 1/4\" high. It has 4 small aluminum pegs that are stored in a special compartment on the opposite side of the board with a red plastic screw-on cover. The holes alternate between red and blue so it\'s easy to count after each hand.This cribbage board has been used extensively over the years and it\'s still got lots of good games left in it ! The white paper cards beneath the plexiglass cover are stained around the edges and there are numerous scratches on the surface of the plexiglass from use over the past 50 + years. The red plastic cover on the bottom (where you store the pegs) is rough around the edges but it still screws in just fine and keeps the pegs safely inside.
