BRAINARD.The Mortise gauge is in good vintage condition with a few ding, scratches and tarnish to the brass. It is working. The makers mark is there but hard to see. The tool measures 8 inches long closed and the sliding block measures 2 1/2 inches square. It is a fantastic well made tool and if you shine up the brass it will make a great display piece.
