Vintage or antique lap travel writing desk .... key locking lap desk box but I don\'t have the key for it ..... box comes with one empty ink bottle and two fountain dip pens without nibs .... top has silver color metal shield plaque with initials .... box is about 11 5/8\" x 9 1/2\" x 3 3/4\" tall at highest points .... wood box has leather on the outside top and on the sides .... on the bottom is what looks like silk .... inside is silk and some other kind of material .... as you will see in the pictures there are numerous scratches & rip on the leather parts .... split in the wood on the bottom and top parts .... some chips in the wood .... in last picture I\'m showing that the lifting piece is gone ..... please see closeup pictures for all of that .... overall nice and sturdy box ....
