Vintage WWII, Oil Can, U.S. Army, Personal Pocket Size, Gunners, For Rifle Maintenance, 5\" Tall (total height, including the spout), the body is 3 5/8\" X 2 3/5\" X 7/8\".
THE FLASK YOU RECEIVE IS NOT THE ONE IN THE PHOTOS. All of them have rust, scratches, some dents and scuffs. We also have Olive Drab flasks available in a different listing. These are exactly the same, just not painted, and these are fairly greasy.
This listing (Listing \"A\") is for anUNPAINTEDflask with the standardoval on both sides. The first two photos shows one of each. The other listing (Listing \"B\") is for a flask that does NOT have the oval. ALL flasks came from the same place (Northern California military base closure sales in the 1970\'s), all are standard American issue, WWII Military issue flasks. The military ordered massive quantities of these from various vendors, whoever gave them the best price. We have no idea why some are missing the oval so we are creating two separate listings to separate them.FAIR condition, some areas of rust, scuffs and scratches, no major damage, dents, broken pieces, etc, functions properly, needs to be cleaned. ALL of these are extremely oily, we believe they were stored in oil at some point to preserve them, and every one will need to be cleaned/restored by the buyer. They are dirty and sticky and greasy - please see photos for overall condition.
Again, these are extremely old and unused, we will describe condition to the best of our ability but things can be missed. PLEASE ask questions, we are happy to provide additional details or photos. The oil can in the photos may not necessarily be the one you receive, we have a case of them and photographed one of average condition for the listing. Wear from storage varies from can to can - they had all been tossed in a box loosely and were shuffled around a bit. We will ship the best ones first in order of purchase.
