Very rare and much sort after edition from the late 1950s of Yorkshire W.I. Recipe Book compiled from recipes submitted by the Yorkshire Federation of Women\'s Institutes. There is no publishing date given but as mentioned in the Forewood by Eileen Yewdall, Chairman of the then Yorkshire Federation of Women\'s Institutes \"the present edition now being sold out, the Federation has been asked for another reprint, so a small committee has amended and added to the original, now including subjects that have come into favour since 1957, such as Deep Freeze, Cooking with Wine, Yeast Cookery, etc., etc. \"
The recipe book is vintage and commensurate with its age and in good condition. All the pages are intact and the recipes are easy to follow.
