Vintage Zuni inlay bolo representing a quail with turquoise, coral, shell , jet, and abalone, and MOP. Good quality cut and set channel inlay with some additional scribed detail on the wing and tail. Bolo is 3 3/8\" tall by 1 1/2\" at its widest point. Silver work on background is nicely decorated with vintage stamps. Unmarked coin silver or higher and unsigned by the artist, it weighs a total of 21 grams. Bolo clip is in good working order and is stamped Bennett Pat. Pend., C 31. This is a fairly common traditional Zuni design, exceptionally well executed by the unknown artist and in exceptional condition for its age and travels. I can find no damage to any of the inlay. Excellent condition to add to a vintage collection. Sorry, no braided leather cord or tips...as I found it twenty years ago. All sales are final.
