Snake-Eye Turquoise& Sterling Silver Ring
10blue, snake-eye turquoise gemstones setin a sand-cast, sterling silver horseshoe shaped ring.
Each gemstoneis hand polished and setin a sterling silver bezel.
Thesnake-eye style is characteristic of pieces crafted byZuni artisans.
Thering has no hallmarks so it is most likely an Old Pawn piece.
It is not uncommon for Old Pawn pieces to be unsigned, especiallyprior to1950.
This heavy, 16 gram gentleman\'sring is size 12.Re-sizing can be done by a jeweler.
Thering isinvery fine, as-found condition.
Thering has not beencleaned or polished, justwiped off with a
jewelers rougebefore pictures were taken. Thering retainsitsoriginal patina.
Asa vintage piece,theringhasall the aspects of pre-owned jewelry, such asfine scratches,
light wear and tarnish. There are no major dents, dings or flaws unless noted.
The ring is slightly out of round (see Pix 5) but could be reshaped byany jeweler.
