DIRECT READ WRISTWATCH!

This vintage ca. 1930’s watch eliminated the need for hands by showing the hours, minutes and seconds through windows in the watch face! It is being sold for parts or repair. See more info below.

Opening the watch face cover reveals where numbered discs would turn to display the correct time! An early step towards modern digital timekeeping!Only the seconds disc is present.

The case has a rectangular shape with a geometric design on the front and a looping design on the sides. It measures approximately 25mm in width, excluding the crown, 34mm in height, including the lugs, and 16mm between the lugs. It comes with a brown leather strap which is very worn.

It has a Seeland Watch Co. 17 jewel unadjusted Swiss movement, which runs then stops. It is not in running and is being sold for parts or repairs.
