This \"Hardy Bros.\" fly tying/makers vice is in \"as found\" condition and has not been repaired or restored. I believe this is their \"Conlin\" model.The vice has a steel clamp and shaft with a brass collar.The clamp works fine, as does the brass collar tightening the jaws when wound .The top of the clamp is marked \"Hardy Bros. Ltd, Makers, Alnwick, Eng.\".There are no cracks or chips to the vice or clamp and this has retained some of its\' original grey paint finish, however, it does have the usual marks and scuffs that you would expect from a well used item of this age. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.The vice measures 20 cm (8 inches) in length, excluding the clamp bolt. This \"Hardy Bros.\" fly tying/makers vice is in \"as found\" condition and has not been repaired or restored. I believe this is their \"Conlin\" model.
The vice has a steel clamp and shaft with a brass collar.
The clamp works fine, as does the brass collar tightening the jaws when wound .
The top of the clamp is marked \"Hardy Bros. Ltd, Makers, Alnwick, Eng.\".
There are no cracks or chips to the vice or clamp and this has retained some of its\' original grey paint finish, however, it does have the usual marks and scuffs that you would expect from a well used item of this age. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.

This is a fabulous piece of fishing history and could still a very usable item today.
