Vintage (late 1930s/early 40s) Rodeo Ben (The Rodeo Tailor) boy\'s cowboy shirt and matching pants. Beautiful handcraftsmanship of famous costumer to rodeo stars and others from mid-20th century. Shirt and pants are heavy black wool gabardine with ornate colorful embroidery throughout. PANTS: on inner leg \"saddle area,\" material is double thickness with gold and red piping. (See photo). Old-style button fly with hook/eye top closure. Horizontal slit pockets on front and embroidered back pocket flaps with pearl snap fasteners. Ornate belt loops front and back. Inseam: 24 1/2\". Waist: 26 1/2.\" (Former owner\'s name written on inner waist label.) Deep hand-sewn leg hems. SHIRT: ornate red/gold/green embroidery on front and back yokes, collar, front pocket areas, upper and lower sleeves. All pearl snap closures on sleeves and front placket. Signature inside front left (Silberstein?) Some moth damage on shirt front and back yoke (see photos). Sleeve length: underarm - 16,\" neck/shoulder to outer cuff - 24,\" back length collar to hem - 23.\" Recommend for display/collecting only.
