I just refinished this 1937 antique tube radio which turned out very nice. This is the Westinghouse model WR- 222 and is 12\" long x 8.5\" tall x 7\" deep. The cabinet is inbeautiful condition andhas nice wood grains/colors.Appears to be a Maple veneer and has the water front design. The ends are of solid wood.Thedial face and pointer are in exceptional condition.The dial bezel and knobs have been polished andresealed.There is a newdial cover, new dial lamp, new speaker grill cover, new AC power cord,and new Filter/Audio capacitors installed.The tubes have been tested and the remaining components checked & replaced if needed. Theknobs are tight to the shafts and function as they are required.From left to right they at: Tone - On/Off - Band Sel - Tuner.This is agreat little piece of the American Radio Industry waiting for youto display in your favorite place in the home or office. The radio plays and performs very well with no issues. The speaker is in excellent condition and has very good volume, tone,and clarity. There is an antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio that will require a few feet of wire to be attached for proper reception and performance.
