You are offerding on a vintage signed Northwest Coast mask. It is a a nice mask made in 1996 by a First Nation artist with the first name Ben. The mask was signed on the back and the original signature and dating was very faded, at one point someone underlined the signature with a ball point pen but I was not able to identify the artist. also it seems there is a place marked in pencil and very faded. The mask is 11 inches tall and 9 inches wide. It shows some repairs on one side. The cedar shows a lot of patina. I have listed many photos with the writing on the back and tried to enhance the images maybe someone can identify the artist. Anyway a nice mask at least 20 years old.
