Beautiful heavy silver plated napkin ring decorated with an intricately carved squirrel sitting on a tree stump and holding a nut. Great little item, designed with great attention to detail - the squirrel\'s face looks a bit confused. I\'m also selling a similar swan napkin ring.ConditionGreat vintage condition, no loss of silvering. Some scuffing on the base of the ring and tiny pitting marks in one spot - please see all photos.Measurements155 g7 cm across5.3 cm tall

Please note, all my silver and silverplated items have been given a quick polish witheitherTableauorNushinewhich are advertised as plating solutions. Whilst they won’t silver plate your copper (contrary to what they may claim), I do recommend them for taking care of silver plated items in particular, as they won’t strip off the thin silver layer, unlike silver cleaning products.My full guide to cleaning silver and silver plate can befound here.
