Orignal pocket map made by A. Finley. Leather covered map of Virginia. The map itself is marked 1830, the label on the book says 1831. Marked J W Young right corner. This is before West Virginia was a state. Great overall condition, one flaw is a tear at the top - please see photos. Very Hard to find. A very nice early map of VA. Hand-colored. Has 1820 Census info. Quite Mountable, would look great framed, dry mounted.

The map, opened, measures about 9\" by 13\" Closed it measures 3 1/8\" by 5\".
