Please take a look at this absolute sweetheart of a Vogue Strung Ginny from 1952. Marked simply \"Vogue Doll\" on her back and \"Vogue\" on her head, this strung Ginny is in lovely condition. She is tightly strung, has all her tiny fingers, has no chips, cracks, seam splits, or odors, and can stand on her own.She has a very richly-toned body with NO fading. A RARE brown-eyed blonde, her eyes work entirely on their own, and are a \"root beer\" color with no \"bleeding\" into her corneas. She has faint lashes and brows that have turned olive with age. Her FEVER cheeks have no rubs and add to her stunning beauty. Her original blonde wig is styled in \"paintbrush\" braids and a fringe of bangs, is thick, clean and in the original braids with only a few fly-away hairs.
Ginny is dressed in the 1952 \"Lucy\" #39 outfit from the Tiny Miss Series. It is a RARE blue dotted dimity dress with attached white organdy apron edged in lace with the original blue bow accent. It is in remarkable condition given the fragility of the fabric. It has no holes, stains, or odors and the matching panties have great elastic! The dress is tagged simply \"Vogue\", is in pristine, MINT condition with only very slight age darkening of the white organdy, and can be verified on page 105 of The Collector\'s Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls, second edition, by Izen and Stover. She wears her original peach straw hat with blue bow, scalloped edge and nice chin strap. Beneath Ginny\'s dress she wears a gauze slip with pleated net trim, white socks and white, hand made, center snap oilcloth shoes.
