Torchiere Table Lamp
Up for sale we have one of the most beautiful torchiere table lamps I have ever seen
As you can see this lamp has a great ornate design with brass and marble accents. It has a wonderful hexagon-shaped filigree and stain glass shade
This piece is made of good quality and weighs about 8 lbs. It has some awesome patina. I came this close to keeping it ;{)
Overall this is in very good used condition as you can see in the pics. There is some slight discoloration on the base which I would consider normal wear
The shade frame is made of a soft metal which makes it very fragile and can break easily if careless. Unfortunately on the top door (see pics 13-15) 3 of the 6 cross arms are fractured. I straightened them out the best I could
It\'s best not to mess with them unless you know how to repair them.The lid is still very sturdy and functions normally with nothing to worry about. Just handle with care as you should any great vintage lighting
This lamp measures approximately 25\" in height and sits on a 6\" square cast iron base
The wiring appears to be in good condition and it\'s in good working order, but feel free to have it checked out for safety reasons. The on/off switch is on the base
There\'s a latch on the door to keep it closed
