This beautiful basket from the Hopi Indians is coiled with yucca fibers, and colored with purple and orange dyes. I was told by the family members at the estate sale where I purchasedthe basket that it had been collected in the 1940s. It is in wonderful condition with no fraying. (See photos). It measures 8.25\" in diameter by 2.5\" high.
