This is a vintage ALLYN SALES desk-shelf display USAF military aircraft model that I found at a Seattle area estate sale of a Boeing employee. It is a desk model that was a personal Presentation model to a USAF Strategic Air Command pilot, Captain Ernest E.Campbell (see pictures of plaque). The full script on the plaque reads, \"Boeing B-53 Stratofortress, Strategic Air Command, 93rd Bombardment Wing (H) SAC, To Commemorate The First Non-Stop Global Jet Flight-24,315 Miles In 45 Hours, 19 Minutes. This Model Of The Plane In Which He Flew Is Presented To Capt. Ernst E. Campbell, Boeing Airplane Company\".(see pictures) The chrome model is of a USAF SAC Boeing B-52 STRATOFORTRESS jet aircraft with the stand, wood base with chrome metal plaque. It was made by ALLYN SALES (see pictures). It is 9.5\" long with a 11\" Wing Span (see pictures). The diecast chrome finish is nice, there is some decal wear on the model aircraft (see pictures). The B-52 Stratofortress model is in excellent condition, straight, no heavy scratches (see pictures). There is light edge wear & a few tiny scuffs or scratches that do not detract (see pictures). It has the SAC logo on the plaque on the base (see pictures) I would date it 1950s era, it is authentic & old. A collector will find this piece a truely rare example, that was specially made for a Boeing employee, USAF Captain Ernest E.Campbell.
