Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage 1950s atomic era table lamp with its original accompanying fiberglass shades. The lamp consists of a round brass base. There is a flat metal spiraling band that adorns the base at the center, and three matching fiberglass shades that are set at slightly varying heights. The fiberglass shades are attached by threading them onto the exterior of the light sockets - the lamp does not utilize harps. Each of the three sockets has its own on/off toggle switch located at the socket, so you can control each individually. The fiberglass shades are beige in color, and they have a random black and gold paint splatter design throughout on each of them.

Measurements:With the shades attached, the lamp stands approx. 28.5\" tall (to the top of the uppermost shade), 26\" tall (to the top of the middle shade) and 22\" tall (to the top of the lowest shade). Each shade measures approx. 6\" tall x 6.5\" in diameter.

Condition:Good, all- original vintage condition. The brass components show a nice, gentle patina commensurate with age. There is some minor color loss on the base, as well as to the spiraling black metal band that adorns the lamp base at the center (see photos). No chips, cracks, bends, breaks, repairs, dents, etc. One of the fiberglass shades has a small burn mark approx. 1\" long (see photos) - it can be turned to the side or back so it isn\'t seen. When that particular socket is off, the burn mark isn\'t really seen - it\'s more evident on the inside of the shade material. When the socket is lit, the burn mark is slightly more evident. Again, doesn\'t really detract given the splatter like design on the shade, but we are mentioning it for accuracy. Two of the shades have original black lacing, while the third has replacement black lacing - all appears to be intact. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. There is some black tape on the plug (see photo). The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we recommend having the lamp checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
