Up for sale is a NEW, never used or displayed vintage linen tea towel calendar circa 1977.
Towel measures approximately 18\" x 27\" and is hemmed at the top and bottom with the top edge having a placket that is large enough to insert a small dowel rod if desired in order to hang the towel as a wall hanging.
Towelfeatures a peaceful New England scene of a old-fashioned wooden grist mill next to a stream in autumn. The white clapboard mill is nestled in a grove of trees that are ablaze with the colors of fall -- including orange, brown, gold, rust, and green. The mill and the fall tress are both reflected in the stream that runs next to the mill which also serves as the source of power to turn the mill\'s water wheel.
Below this serene and classic New England scene is the calendar section that features 12 blocks of gold inside each, the 12 months of the year. Month names/days of the week are printed in black while each month block is bordered in red for added emphasis. The year (1977) is printed in large black numerals between the pictorial and calendar sections. (See pix.)
Towel is free from stains, rips, tears and is in excellent vintage condition. Ready for use, display, re-purposing, or gift-giving!
