Up for offer here is a great vintage ladies satin jacket made for the Mustang Drilling Company by the Marv Holland Industries Ltd. Mustang Drilling is a company founded in East Texas in 1948. I\'d judge, by the tags and the style, that this jacket was an advertising/novelty item from the 50s. Quilted inside, cute little hood, overall very good shape. Marv Holland is a company that has been making industrial clothing also since 1948 and this jacket, although stylish and fragile looking, is still durable. Strong zipper. Marked inside as \"Lady MR\". Medium Regular? My usual model tried it on - he wears a Men\'s Small to Medium. Measurements are below and it\'s in about that size range.
Flaws: One seam at the waist, where the elastic meets the satin, is separated. Will need some sewing. I photographed it. Some pilling inside at waist and some on quilted lining. No breaks at underarms, or anywhere else I can see. Still has drawstring at neck. Freshly dry cleaned and whites remain fairly white, reds a nice cherry red. One front pocket had had an old lipstick left in it, so there is a light red stain in one of the mesh pockets, but not seen during use. I took lots of photos and welcome questions.
