Antique or vintage snow white cotton chenille bedspread. This bedspread is thick, heavy, and plush. The ground fabric is pure white cotton, and the chenille design is squares of chenille pops with smaller spider webs constructed from uncut chenille. The end borders are wedding cake festoons with pops and smaller chenille, and the final edge is a thick triple tied white fringe. This is a large chenille; it measures 92 inches wide and 105 inches long. These measurements include the thick fringe. The corners at the bottom are rounded.
This spread is a fixable cutter. At the top on the left side of the spread is a three inch tear and loss of chenille. This is pictured in slide 8. We have also pictured a spot in slide 9. The remainder of this spread is in excellent condition, and it would provide yards and yards of thick, heavy chenille for repurposing. It is really lovely.
This spread has been gently soaked, sun dried, and dryer fluffed.Without packing, this spread weighs 5.75 pounds.
