Thisis a lovely figurine from the Western Germany manufacturer GeroldPorzellan. It depicts a small girl witha bowl under one arm feeding three geese.Typical to Gerold figurines, this one has thesoft muted coloring of Lladro (specifically blue and grey) and the whimsicallook of a Hummel. It bears the post-1949green marker’s mark: Gerold Porzellan /Bavaria / Made in Western-Germany. Therepresentative of the estate sale where this figure was obtained believes it tobe from the 1970s.
